Welcome to my little writing thing
Hello, world!
Well, really, hello to my first couple of readers. Right now my readership consists of a couple of my close friends. It’s possible it may stay that way forever.
You may be wondering what is going on here, so allow me to introduce this:
I am Matt. I am 22. I was an English major who liked to write. I am now a corporate man who still likes to write, but doesn’t know where to put it. This will serve as a way to hold myself accountable, to create an archive of written pieces, and to share it with my friends.
What can you expect from this? You might see reviews of albums that I listen to, movies I watch, or books I read. Maybe you’ll see a piece about a Wikipedia rabbit hole I stumbled into that was worth writing a few words about. Or maybe you’ll find a pseudo-philosophical rambling in your inbox that had been kicking around in my head. The possibilities are endless!
I’m still getting used to this platform (for example, I’ve had to type this welcome post out twice now) so this experience will be fun and new for both of us, I’m hoping!
